REFORMER PILATES
GO BEYOND YOUR COMFORT ZONE
At Kansas Built Fitness, we schedule our Reformer Pilates classes in 60-minute intervals to help you get the maximum benefit from the Pilates Reformer machine.
Our personal trainers will ensure that each portion of the Pilates workout is done correctly so you get the most out of each session.
WHAT IS REFORMER PILATES?
With traditional Pilates, you are typically on the floor or a mat, but Reformer Pilates is done using a Pilates Reformer machine.
The Reformer Pilates springs add more resistance to each exercise, making each stretch or movement more challenging. This workout gives the body a complete workout compared to traditional pilates which focuses primarily on the core.
If you have suffered an injury and are looking for an effective rehabilitation workout, Reformer Pilates is a great option.
Because the workout is on a horizontal plane of motion, Reformer Pilates can help reduce weight on the legs and back. This can be very beneficial (especially for those suffering from leg injuries) because this horizontal motion means less weight on the legs and a wider range of motion.
